Dottie guessed Bodhi would weigh 65 lbs and she guessed right on the dot! Bodhi is 65 lbs!
Dottie wins our first born child! Haha! Just kidding! She wins a Water Boy. It's a super handy no spill water container and bowl in one. Bodhi and Sadie have one and they appreciate it very much! Congrats, Dot!!
Bodhi's Story
The word "Bodhi" is Sanskrit for "awakening" and the tree the Buddha meditated beneath to reach enlightenment is called the Bodhi Tree.
So why did we name him Bodhi??? Well...
Bodhi and his siblings were dumped on the side of a busy road in an apple orchard. They were abandoned there with no food, water or care for many days and many of them did not survive. When Bodhi came to us he had little to no fur because of a bad skin infection due to the neglect he suffered. But he didn't seem to let it get to him. Instead, he seemed in a state of enlightenment, ignoring his new sister Sadie's aggressive advances and showing nothing but love, and devotion to us. Since our little guy was found under a tree and seemed calmer than the Buddha himself, we decided to name him Bodhi.
So...yep...we are those people who say, "No...it's Bodhi with an 'h'."
